SRA launches Practising Certificate renewals

The SRA has today launched the 2013 round of Practising Certificate renewals, with a closing date of Thursday, 31 October.

They are offering a range of support measures to help those completing applications. These include;

– Provision of detailed guidance for authorised signatories and organisation contacts completing bulk renewals

– A readiness checklist

– Updated user guides

– FAQs

– Revised web content

Rachel Lewis, SRA Authorisation Manager, said: "We have introduced some further changes to the application, which we hope will reduce some of the issues users experienced in completing the renewals process last year.

"While the changes will not be as visible as in 2012, we have prioritised those that will have the greatest impact. Some of the changes may appear relatively minor or behind the scenes, but their effect is significant.
