The Law Society has announced that they are currently developing a concept for an e-conveyancing portal.
They are currently in the process of selecting an IT partner to build and host the platform.
Views are sought on a number of key issues so that the portal branding, functionality and pricing model can be finalised.
They hope to improve the conveyancing process for solicitors, conveyancers, clients and other key stakeholders.
The Society has said they both CQS and non-CQS firms and licensed conveyancers will have access to the portal.
