Two UK-founded legal and fintech companies are celebrating major funding gains.
Prop and fintech platform OneDome has raised $25 million, taking total funding raised to date to $40 million.
Lawhive, which describes itself as the ‘world’s first AI-native consumer law firm’, has raised $60 million to accelerate its expansion across the US.
OneDome, which was founded in London in 2016, will use the funding to support its next phase of growth. The platform currently arranges approximately $1.4 billion of mortgage lending per month and works with a network of over 500 mortgage brokers.
In 2026, the company was named the 6th fastest-growing technology business by the Sunday Times Tech 100, having grown revenues by 4,066% between 2022 and 2025.
The round was funded largely by existing investors alongside Channel 4 Ventures, whose investment was announced in late 2025.
Babek Ismayil, founder and CEO, OneDome, said:
“Buying a home is still one of the most stressful and disjointed financial transactions people go through.
“We started OneDome to fix that by bringing everything under one roof and turning homebuying into a simple, transparent retail experience. This funding allows us to scale what is already a profitable and fast-growing platform, while continuing to challenge how homes are bought and financed in the UK.”
Meanwhile, Lawhive says the funding win will allow the company to target what it says is one of the ‘largest and most underserved segments’ of legal services. It says the consumer legal market in America generates $200 billion revenue annually, yet research suggests that up to $1 trillion in legal needs go unmet annually because of ‘cost, backlog and highly manual processes’.
The legaltech company’s technology supports lawyers and back-office teams by automating tasks such as document drafting, research, case management, client intake and payments. Lawhive’s AI paralegal, Lawrence, ‘works alongside lawyers and support staff to collaborate on casework and administrative tasks’.
Lawhive created the world’s first ‘AI-native law firm’ in 2023, which now includes 450 lawyers across the US and UK, all practising through Lawhive’s AI-operating system. In 2025, Lawhive completed the acquisition of Woodstock Legal Services in the UK.
The funding round was led by Mitch Rales, co-founder of Danaher Corporation, with participation from TQ Ventures, GV (Google Ventures), Balderton Capital, Jigsaw, Anton Levy and LTS.
Pierre Proner, CEO and co-founder, Lawhive, said:
“The pace of growth over the past year reflects the scale of the problem we are tackling. Everyday legal matters remain costly and unpredictable for millions of people, while lawyers are held back by manual processes that limit their efficiency and scale of their legal practices.
“AI is finally making it possible to achieve a breakthrough in delivering consumer legal services with the speed and consistency people expect. The reaction from lawyers and clients in the US has been exceptionally strong and this funding allows us to build on US momentum and scale our model.”
