LMS’s lender network continues to grow as the company partners with Bath Building Society

Legal Marketing Services (LMS), the UK’s leading provider of conveyancing services, welcomes Bath Building Society to LMS Panel Link, further expanding its connected ecosystem.

Founded in 1904, Bath Building Society has been helping people buy homes and live financially resilient lives for over 120 years. Now, through the partnership with LMS, Bath Building Society will further increase security and efficiencies for its members during their respective  conveyancing journeys.

Panel Link connects lenders with law firms that meet quality, security, and compliance criteria, providing ongoing due diligence to facilitate secure, digitised case progression. Multiple services are available via Panel Link, which Bath Building Society will be utilising, such as Secure Link and LMS’s Charge Registration service.

Secure Link transforms two key processes: the post-offer query process and redemption statement requests.

A knowledge base of lender-approved FAQs provides law firms with immediate answers to  questions that typically arise during the post-offer query process. This knowledge base not only decreases delays within a conveyancing journey but also reduces communication made via traditional, less secure methods and frees up more time for the lender.

When it comes to requesting a redemption statement, a law firm can simply request this key  document via a category dropdown menu, providing basic information about the account and borrower. Then all the lender needs to do is create and upload the statement, making it accessible and downloadable to the law firm.

As mentioned, Bath Building Society will also be utilising LMS’s Charge Registration service. LMS will obtain updates directly from HM Land Registry (HMLR), removing back-and-forth communication with law firms to help streamline the process.

LMS is thrilled with this new collaboration and looks forward to working with Bath Building Society.

Suzanne O’Connor, chief relationship officer at LMS (pictured), commented on the partnership:

“As always, we are proud to welcome another lender to Panel Link, particularly one that is so long-standing  and committed to keeping its customers at its heart. We look forward to working with Bath  Building Society, increasing efficiencies and security for its members.”

Craig Brown, chief mortgage officer at Bath Building Society, said:

“We are passionate about knowing our customers and understanding their individual needs. To be able to offer such a personal service, we continue to grow and evolve, making it easier for members to use our services. Therefore, working with LMS was the obvious next step. With Panel Link, we’ll be able to offer our members extra peace of mind when it comes to their conveyancing journey while also making it more efficient for everyone involved.”
