House value increase of 1.5%

According to the latest data from property website Zoopla the average house value in Britain has increased by ï¿¡3,373 over the last year.

This takes the average value to ï¿¡226,369. Despite the annual increase this is down ï¿¡609 from 3 months ago.

Property prices in London have continued to rise at a far faster pace than the rest of the country with a 7.3% increase.

Not all regions saw an increase with the North West, Wales and Yorkshire and The Humber all seeing decreases.

Lawrence Hall of Zoopla.co.uk said: “It’s been a relatively flat but stable year for house prices with most parts of the country seeing modest growth.

“London, however, continues to pull away from the rest of the market and has experienced strong growth again over the past year.”
