Conveyancing forum passes 4,000 questions milestone

A specialist forum set up to offer support and insight to conveyancers has provided 29,000 responses to over 4,000 questions since it was launched in 2020.

The Bold Legal Group (BLG) online forum is a member-only space where members can pose questions, seek insight and engage the support of like-minded practitioners and representatives from official bodies.

With over 2,000 active users, the forum has become a vital tool for conveyancers, receiving over a quarter of a million page views so far this year.

“The forum has proved to be invaluable to so many conveyancers over the years”, said BLG founder and CEO Rob Hailstone.

“Questions are asked and answered by both new and experienced conveyancers, strengthened by expert input from professionals with HMLR, SDLT, Compliance and other specialist backgrounds.”

As well as general discussion about events that have a wider impact on conveyancing sector, such as political reforms and property insights, forum members seek advice on sector-specific topics including manorial rights, unregistered rights and shared ownership.

“The forum isn’t just helpful, it’s a lifeline and always buzzing with activity”, Hailstone added.

“It’s become an essential resource at a time when many practitioners are working remotely. For law firm owners, COLPs, COFAs, and insurers, it offers peace of mind knowing conveyancers have access to trusted guidance virtually around the clock.

“I really wish a forum like this had existed when I was at the front line of conveyancing, it would have made my life a lot easier!”
