Propertymark Trust director Michael Day releases Christmas charity single

A well known property industry figure has written and recorded a Christmas charity single to raise money for Diabetes UK and The Propertymark Trust.

Michael Day, who founded consultancy Integra Property Services in 2003 and is a director and trustee at The Propertymark Trust, sings and plays acoustic guitar on Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, which can be downloaded for a minimum donation of £2.

Recorded at Longdog Recording Studios near Dunstable in Bedfordshire and produced by Piers Nolan, the single has been released to raise both awareness and funds for the two charities, which Day – who celebrated his 50th year in residential property last year – says are very close to his heart.

Day was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes over 35 years ago and has raised around £7,500 for Diabetes UK over the last three years. And, as director and trustee at the Propertymark Trust, he plays a key role in delivering financial aid, education, and support to property professionals and their families and employees.

Day said:

“Many people know that I enjoy writing and performing and I have a number of my original songs recorded and available across 23 streaming channels.

“This Christmas song has a message of remembering those that may need help and sharing some joy and kindness at this important time of year.

“I hope that people will enjoy the song in its own right but, more importantly, that they will make a donation to download and that they will also share and encourage family, friends and work colleagues to do likewise. The minimum donation is £2 but there is no maximum!”
