Help reshape legal services at LSB’s London event

The Legal Services Board (LSB) is hosting an in-person event in London on 16th September to discuss the opportunities and challenges facing the legal services sector.

‘Reshaping Legal Services’, hosted by Clifford Chance at the law firm’s 10 Upper Bank Street offices, will discuss the impact of AI and other innovative approaches to delivering services. The event is open to legal professionals, academics, advice agencies, and consumer groups from across the South East of England.

‘Our Reshaping Legal Services strategy sets out our ambition to make sure regulation supports access to legal services for everyone who needs them, especially those individuals and businesses whose needs are too often unmet’, the LSB said.

“We are interested in exploring areas where regulation can have the greatest impact. We would be particularly interested in your views and experiences in relation to technology and innovation.

The LSB oversees the regulation of legal services in England and Wales, including the performance of the sector’s regulators: the Solicitors Regulation Authority, the Bar Standards Board and CILEx Regulation. The LBS regulates in the public interest to promote an independent, strong, competitive, diverse and effective legal profession.

Attendees can email events@legalservicesboard.org.uk to secure a place.
