Conveyancing technology platform LMS is the latest company to join the growing ranks of the Conveyancing Association, signing up as an affiliate member this week.
The technology company works with over 4,000 law firms and includes some of the UK’s largest lenders and conveyancing firms within its network. With over 30 years of experience, LMS has grown from its original purpose of connecting lenders and law firms into a fully digitised platform underpinning the home buying and selling journey for lenders, conveyancers, brokers, estate agents and home buyers.
LMS services and technology are geared towards improving security, transparency and speed across property transactions. Last year, it launched the National Property Transaction Network to bring together key stakeholders across the property sector in the pursuit of developing and adopting technology standards.
Following a successful pilot that reduced completion times by 35%, 15 major lenders signed up to the initiative, including HSBC, Lloyds and NatWest.
‘We are thrilled to welcome LMS into the CA as our newest affiliate member’, said Nicky Heathcote, non-executive chair of the Conveyancing Association.
“Their heritage and expertise, combined with their commitment to embracing innovation and building meaningful partnerships across the market, will be of huge value to our members. LMS has played a pivotal role in shaping the way lenders and conveyancers work together, and their ongoing investment in technology and connectivity aligns closely with the CA’s vision for the future of conveyancing.”
LMS CEO Nick Chadbourne (pictured) added:
“We’ve worked closely with The Conveyancing Association for many years, so it’s great to now formalise that relationship by becoming an official affiliate member. The CA’s commitment to collaboration and innovation across the sector aligns perfectly with our own values at LMS, and we’re looking forward to continuing that work together to drive meaningful change for the industry.”
The Conveyancing Association is a not-for-profit organisation which aims to improve the conveyancing process and promote best practice throughout the industry. The association works collaboratively with industry stakeholders to campaign, influence and improve the conveyancing process.
