Hoowla Celebrates their 10-year anniversary!

Hoowla is proud to celebrate its 10th anniversary this month. Over the past decade, Hoowla has established itself as a leading user-friendly case management software provider that simplifies the legal process for everyone involved. With a strong emphasis on the conveyancing department and designed with the user in mind, they developed customisable workflows, automated document generation, integrated with other systems, secure data storage, collaboration tools, and reporting and analytics capabilities. These features make Hoowla the go-to software for conveyancers and legal professionals looking to streamline their processes, reduce errors, and provide better client service.

Hoowla’s story starts in 2013 in a small office on Swansea’s characterful high street. The team steadily grew and welcomed now familiar faces Edd and Tom. Their main goal was to shake up the conveyancing software industry, offering an easy-to-use system to speed up the property transaction process. Through hard work and determination, in 2016, they achieved full integration with HM Land Registry. Shortly after, they identified that the legal industry desperately needed a comprehensive case management system and swiftly expanded Hoowla’s capabilities to offer the industry solutions for wills and probate, immigration, family law, litigation and much more. As a result, their growth accelerated, resulting in a move to their Mansel Street office, situated above a letting agent.

2016 was a successful year for Hoowla; not only did they become integrated with the Land Registry, but they also won Legal Geeks’ inaugural Legal Start-up Award, and Adam was chosen as a finalist for Technology Entrepreneur of the Year in the Entrepreneur Wales Awards. Then in 2017, Hoowla celebrated after their mission to shake up the legal industry with modern software was recognised when they were named Tech Disrupter for Business Cloud’s inaugural 101 Tech Start-up Disrupters list.

Over the years, the team grew bigger and bigger, and so did their software and client base. In 2018 they bought the whole office building on Mansel Street, and their team now occupies its three storeys. Also, they became a proud reseller of the Law Society Licence Forms in the same year. 2018 was a big year for the legal industry; the SRA announced that legal firms, including conveyancing, were to clearly state their pricing and services on their websites for transparency. To show support to their existing and potential clients, Hoowla published their pricing online, becoming one the first case management provider to do so. Two years later, Hoowla appeared in the Business Cloud’s list for Wales’s top 50 Tech. Another two years later, in 2022, the Hoowla software reached an impressive milestone when it passed over 100,000 legal cases created in one year.

One of the things that sets Hoowla apart is its commitment to employing local people and students looking to get a head start in their careers and supporting local charities, positively impacting the local area. This benefits the community and ensures that Hoowla’s customers receive exceptional service from a team of vibrant and dedicated professionals.
