Supporting the conveyancing industry
PEXA attended the British Conveyancing Awards in London, where we were proud to sponsor the award for ‘Residential Conveyancing Team of the Year,’ which was won by Shoosmiths. We were also honoured at such an early stage of PEXA’s evolution in the UK, to be shortlisted in the category of ‘Supporting the Industry’. It was a great evening, and we enjoyed celebrating the industry’s achievements with old friends and new.
Keeping up with payments innovation
The team attended the Payments Association’s Pay360 event in London recently, which is the flagship event for the payments community in the UK. There were a range of interesting topics being discussed from open finance’s likely effect on retail payments, central bank digital currencies and, of particular interest to us, payment synchronisation (syncing exchange of funds and title, which is key to PEXA’s offering in Australia).
