Going, Going, Gone – Online!

With all of the new difficulties hindering property sales at the moment, it is encouraging to see that a recent online property auction achieved an 86% sold rate. Auction sales may represent a good way for property owners to sell properties during lockdown. Similarly, with interest rates at a record low, investors can access properties across the UK from their laptops as more auction houses go online.

Stewart Title has asked property expert Ian Quayle to focus on this area of property law and practice in the second free webinar we are running for property lawyers and support staff.

Ian’s talk “Dealing with Auction Sales and Purchases” will cover topics such as:

  • How to help your client prepare their property for sale by auction
  • Things to look out for when acting for a buyer at auction
  • How to protect your client against limited disclosure in auctions

The webinar runs for 40 minutes at 11 am on Wednesday 29 April and will include the chance for attendees to pick Ian’s brain on this increasingly important topic.

More details about this webinar and some of the others Stewart Title is running can be found HERE.
