Manchester based firm claims to have undertaken first Blockchain transaction

A property investment firm has claimed to be Britain’s first company to record a property exchange using Blockchain.

Using online platform clicktopurchase, Manchester-based HS Property Group states that it transacted the sale of a four-bedroom investment property.

Director, Guy Horne, has described the technology to be the “future of property transactions” despite general concerns surrounding the stability of cryptocurrencies.

He went on to state: “The speed and transparency it offers will democratise property investment worldwide. We want to offer our global investor network a more straightforward and secure method to purchase residential investments without compromising any legal safeguards.”
