Land Registry update: PG 36

Land Registry have recently updated one of their Practice Guides.

Practice Guide 36 provides information regarding the land registration elements of estate transactions by both administrators and administrative receivers appointed under the Insolvency Act 1986.

When a company goes into administration, an administrator is appointed under Schedule B1 to the Insolvency Act 1986 to deal with a company’s business, property and affairs. This administrator must be an insolvency practitioner.

The most recent update has taken account of the changes made by the Insolvency (England and Wales) Rules 2016 (IR 2016), as amended by the Insolvency (England and Wales) (Amendment) Rule 2017.

The Practice Guide can be accessed here.
