Case management provider InTouch has partnered with The Search Bureau, the independent conveyancing search provider, to bring residential and commercial property searches directly into the InTouch platform. Law firms using InTouch can now order Local Authority, environmental, drainage and water and specialist searches without leaving their case management system, cutting rekeying and keeping search information connected to the case.

The partnership is the latest step in InTouch’s strategy of connecting best of breed specialists into its platform, built for law firms that expect their technology to work as one ecosystem.

The integration works both ways: firms order searches from within InTouch with matter details pre-populated, and results and reports are returned straight into the case, keeping fee earners and support teams in one system rather than moving between disconnected portals.

Beyond the technology, this is a partnership of two independent businesses with a shared belief: that law firms deserve better than being a number on a corporate spreadsheet. Both InTouch and The Search Bureau have grown by combining modern, connected technology with genuinely personal service, named contacts, flexible ways of working and people who pick up the phone. The integration extends that approach.

The partnership follows The Search Bureau’s recent success at The ESTAS Awards 2026, where it was named Best in Sector – Conveyancing Searches. Based on feedback from clients, the award recognises the company’s commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

Dale Rounce, co-founder at InTouch, said: “There’s a natural fit here: two independent businesses that have grown by looking after clients properly. The Search Bureau combine proper search expertise with the kind of personal service that’s become rare in this market, and bringing their searches natively into InTouch means our clients get both without adding extra steps to their day.”

Gavin Croxford, managing director at The Search Bureau, said: “We’re always looking for ways to make life easier for our clients without losing the personal service that sits at the heart of The Search Bureau. This integration does exactly that. Firms using InTouch can access the searches they need as part of their existing workflow, with information flowing directly between the two systems, while still having the support of our team whenever they need us.

“InTouch shares our belief that good technology should simplify the conveyancing process, not add another layer to it, so this felt like a very natural partnership for us.”

The integration is available now to all InTouch clients.

To showcase the integration, InTouch and The Search Bureau are planning a joint webinar on Tuesday 1 December 2026 at 11.00 am, demonstrating how the integration works in practice. Register here for your free place.
