A technology provider has launched what it describes as a fully managed service that designs, builds and runs AI agents handling high-volume and regulated work.
Warrington-based Synextra has launched its Agents of Output software, which uses agents to handle high-volume, regulated work, from drafting engagement letters to running anti-money laundering checks.
The business said the software is designed to “help organisations grow without a matching rise in headcount, giving teams more time for work that needs their expertise.”
The agents are set up and connected to existing systems, so nothing is replaced and “in most cases there is nothing new to learn and the benefit starts from day one.”
There are no set-up or consulting fees and no charge per seat or hour said Synextra. Instead an output fee is charged, plus a monthly platform fee.
Chris Piggott, CEO of Synextra and Agents of Output, said: “AI rarely fails in the demo. In governance-led firms, it fails at sign-off, so that’s what we build for. If an agent isn’t worth building, we’ll say so, and we won’t bill a firm for finding out.
“When it is, we agree the standard every output must meet before we build, and we don’t hand it over and walk away.”
Once the agent is live, performance is monitored in case of issues. Any drop in quality is caught before operational impact. No in-house AI expertise is needed.
In a recent use case an agent pulls out each condition from the mortgage offer and showed where it appeared so conveyancers could check the findings rather than the whole document. In trials on offers the group had already checked manually, it found 99.9% of conditions with no false matches said Synextra.
