InfoTrack launches Document Review to flag risks as conveyancing documents arrive

InfoTrack has launched Document Review, a conveyancing document analysis tool that applies more than 2,000 expert-built rules to flag potential risks, missing information and lender requirements as documents enter a matter.

Operating within the InfoTrack platform, Document Review analyses around 40,000 conveyancing documents each day. It reviews key transaction documents, including Title Registers, Contracts, TA forms and Leases, as well as supporting material such as Fire Risk Assessments and Asbestos Surveys.

The tool draws on the relevant UK finance mortgage lenders’ handbook requirements for each matter, helping conveyancers assess whether information needs further review. Findings are presented through clear status flags and linked directly to the source document, so users can quickly inspect the supporting evidence.

Document Review also generates an editable preliminary report, which fee earners can review in-platform before publishing as a Word document.

Built around conveyancers

The tool has been developed using rules written by InfoTrack’s conveyancing specialists, reflecting the documents, checks and risks encountered in residential conveyancing transactions.

Rather than requiring users to switch between standalone tools or manually search across documents, Document Review brings relevant findings into the workflow where conveyancers already work.

It also gives firms a clearer view across matters, helping teams track completed reviews, identify outstanding points and focus oversight where it is most needed.

Designed for the platform

Document Review is available within the InfoTrack platform, with documents and matter data pulled through from supported integrations. This allows firms to introduce document analysis without adding another system to their technology stack.

The launch forms part of InfoTrack’s wider strategy to build a more intelligent conveyancing platform, bringing relevant information and decision support closer to the point at which conveyancers need to act.

Scott Bozinis, chief executive officer at InfoTrack UK, said: “Document Review is a practical step towards a genuinely intelligent conveyancing platform. It is not AI for its own sake: it is designed to help conveyancers understand documents sooner, apply the relevant lender requirements and focus their expertise where it matters most. The conveyancer remains in control; our role is to give them clearer, evidence-led information from the outset.”
