I had been a practising solicitor for over 40 years when I retired in March 2020. I started my practice as a sole practitioner in 1997 and in the later years my firm was largely based on residential conveyancing with some commercial property, plus wills and probate.
As well as these areas, over the course of my career, I have worked in most of the areas covered by general practice, namely crime, civil litigation, family law, insolvency and personal injuries.
Since retirement, my main hobby has been to concentrate on my second ‘career’ as an author of mainly mystery/crime/suspense novels – and one very observational rom-com. My novels aren’t about the law but they do usually have a legal background and are all available on Kindle, and the latest three on Apple, Kobo and Nook and as paperbacks.
I’m married with two grown-up sons.
